Get ya grind right get ya shine right

Get ya grind right get ya shine right

[Mood: Tired 🥱]
[Music: Juicy J ft. Project Pat - Money Flippa]

Back in the Live Journal days that ^ is how blog posts always started. No Spotify link or anything (there was no Spotify) we just typed the song that went with our post and if the reader didnt know the track it was a them problem lol. And the emoji beside mood was the only emoji in the post besides :) style. I'm bringing it all back one Shopify blog post at a time haha! Continuing to make MY website more engaging rather than being tricked into making some evil corporate giant (Meta) more engaging (Shopify is NOT the same.. At least not yet!) I know I sound like a broken record here but whatever- much less self conscious about how I sound because there's so much less comparison and shame here haha!

Also this is your friendly reminder to monochrome your phone! I'm so addicted -_- still doing the phantom checks even with no IG or FB or even Youtube app on my phone anymore but yeah, monochrome still somehow much less addictive. I want to replace all that mindless social media use with reading. Right now I'm reading Man's Search For Meaning... It's really good and exactly what I need right now. Shout out my friend Stu for lending it to me like 7 years ago I'll have it back soon buddy.

I wanna say email me with comments or questions but at this point anyone who could even possibly be reading this could probably text me hahaha. Just like the good ol days!!! Except back then I didnt even have a cell phone so you wouldve had to message me on MSN. I remember having like over 100 people on my MSN and then one day I saw, very popular guy, Reilly from No Fun Press MSN list was like 4 people... And that blew my mind and started me on a much different track on social media. It's cool to be underground yall!

Happy to be back to work today! $$ Stoked to get more of this idea rolling now that I'm back into some money. Having a shop attached to my new Live Journal is actually so clutch tho. Again not because I make or need to make a ton of sales. It's just a perfect blend between old school and practicality as an artist that I can direct people here to buy or even just look at my work... It's very in line with my original vision for my site that I've been trying to create for so long. I'm excited to continue to create my vision with more posts, more prints, more merch, zines etc...

"First you get ya mind right, then you get ya money right. Once you get ya money right, you can do what you want in life..."

Loving this track lately very motivational :)
